David And Kerri Schweissing

David and Kerri have lived in Western Pennsylvania since 2006, though neither are native to the area. David grew up in Colorado, then kept moving east for college and seminary; he earned a Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis. Kerri is originally Canadian, but spent high school and college years in North Carolina, where she earned a degree from North Carolina State. David and Kerri finally met and were married in Nashville, Tennessee, as David was interning at a local church and preparing for ordination. David was ordained as a minister in the Presbyterian Church in America in 2003.

The Schweissings have lived and ministered in Oregon and Pennsylvania, where David pastored in the Pittsburgh area for nearly ten years. In the spring of 2017, David was recommended for church planting, and after a period of transition and with the support of the Pittsburgh Presbytery, relocated to Indiana in 2018 to begin the work of a new church.

Indiana has proven to be a great place to raise a family, and David and Kerri’s three children - Lauren, Ashlyn, and Carter - have enjoyed their new schools and all the activities that Indiana has to offer, from parks and pools to parades and community events. As a family, they are excited to see the beginning of a new church community and the opportunity to share the love of Jesus here in this place.
